Directions from Birr:
Approach Tullamore via Five Alley, Kilcormac and Mucklagh. Near Tullamore the Fingerboard service station is on your right, and the wall of the Charleville Castle demesne is on your left as you approach the town. Drive down Charleville Road. Approaching Tullamore, there is Dillon Street is on your left (at the top of which is a fancy dress outlet with a red sign visible), and Spollenstown Road is on your right. Aras an Chontae - a large glass building - becomes visible to your right in the very near distance. Filter lane available to turn right into the car park. If you reach traffic lights at the train station junction you have gone too far.
Directions from Portlaoise:
Approach Tullamore. Pass Government Offices on your left. Keep straight and pass Tullamore Court Hotel on your left. Proceed to a small roundabout where Tullamore Town Council Acres Hall is immediately in front of you. Take the first turn off left the roundabout. Procees straight, the Courthouse is on your left. Traffic lights ahead. As you go through the traffic lights Aras an Chontae - a large glass building - becomes visible to your left. After the traffic lights take the immediate left turn into the public car park for Aras an Chontae.
Directions from Kilbeggan:
Drive from Kilbeggan into Tullamore, near the town the new hopsital is on your left and further on the left is the football stadium. Proceed straight through the town until you come right to the top of the town. A small roundabout is in front of you, and Tullamore Town Council, Acres Hall is partly visible to the right of that roundabout. Proceed straight on the roundabout by taking the second turn left off the roundabout. Procees straight, the Courthouse is on your left. Traffic lights ahead. As you go through the traffic lights Aras an Chontae - a large glass building - becomes visible to your left. After the traffic lights take the immediate left turn into the public car park for Aras an Chontae.
