Foundation Arts

Foundation Arts (the annual festival which has occupied Kilroy’s, Tullamore since 2013) will evolve to bring a selection of artistic projects and events over the next couple of months in the premises before construction starts on the new Arts Centre. Keep an eye on the Tullamore Community Arts Centre facebook page for up dates on the Foundation programme.

FilmOffaly Logo

FilmOffaly/Filmbase Award 2016 NOW CLOSED

An annual award which invites applicants to submit short film scripts. The winner of the award receives €8,000.00 towards the production of the film, together with other benefits. Secrets of Offaly


The three SECRETS OF OFFALY public art projects have assembled for a single exhibition which launched on Thursday 4th Feb 2016 @ 7pm in Aras an Chontae, Tullamore. These projects are the legacy of three Offaly Communitie sin the early 1900's. To find out more follow about these projects this link.

Offaly Schools debuted their own animated creations at the OFFline Film Festival on Thursday 8th October at 12noon in Birr Theatre & Arts Centre. To find out more about this project please see our Mini Movies press release or our multi media page for links to the films they have created.

Acclaimed photographer Veronica Nicholson has been commissioned by Offaly County Council to document the county during 2015/2016. Professional Training for Theatre & Film

Offaly Youth Theatre is a not-for profit organisation funded by Offaly County Council that places the artistic wants and needs of its young members first.(Ages 14-20). All facilitators are third level trained and Garda Vetted. OYT offers a place for young people to communicate their own ideas, learn acting skills for film and theatre, use own voice, write their own scripts and perform it.
