A new booklet setting out the Business and Personal/Social Supports available in Offaly was officially launched on Monday, 1st February 2010.
This booklet outlines the services provided by a range of both national and local agencies. It gives background information on each of the agencies, a summary of the supports available and full contact details. The purpose of the booklet is two-fold: to ensure people are aware of the wide range of supports available in the County and to enable them source specific help according to their circumstances.
The booklet was produced by the Economic Committee of the Offaly Local Development Board (OCDB) which consists of 30 members representing local government, local development, state agencies and social partners. These members work collectively to prioritise, plan and deliver better services to the people of Offaly.
Offaly County Enterprise Board co-ordinated the project, collating the information on behalf of the committee and presenting it in a user-friendly format. Over 4,000 copies have been printed and these have been distributed to all agencies and public offices in the county.
