The opening hours for Derryclure Landfill are as follows:

From the 1st July VAT is charged at 13.5% for landfill charges for both pre-paid tickets and pay-by-weight options.
Commercial customers can claim back VAT through the normal channels
There are two Payment Options available (Please note that cash/cheques are NOT accepted at the Landfill)
- Pay by prepaid landfill ticket.
- Pay by credit card or debit card.

Net weight> 110 kg - €4.10 per 20kg increment plus 13.5% vat
All vehicles can avail of the option to pay by weight using a credit card or a debit/laser card only. The option to pay by weight must be advised to the operator at the weighbridge on entering the Landfill. Your vehicle is weighed on entering & exiting the Landfill & the charge is calculated on the difference in the weight.
This charge is €205.00 per tonne. A minimum charge of €7.50 for 0-30kgs.

- Wood
- Construction & Demolition Waste
- Green Waste - however green waste is accepted for recovery at a designated site within the landfill*
- Hazardous Waste
- Biological waste streams -food & garden waste.
*Green/Garden waste is accepted for recovery at a rate of €145 per tonne. Small volumes from households can be taken to the Recycling Centre (volumes up to a single axle trailer)
