New: Notice of Draft Local Authority Budget for 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Draft Local Authority Budget of Offaly County Council, for the financial year ending on 31st December 2012 has been prepared and will be considered by the Council at the Statutory Annual Budget Meeting to be held in the Council Chamber, Aras an Chontae, Tullamore on Monday 19th December 2011 at 2pm.
Payment of Wages & Salaries to Staff
This service involves the processing of wages and salaries for all staff including deduction of P.A.Y.E. and P.R.S.I. and other statutory and non-statutory deductions and for all relevant returns.
Payment of Pensions to Former Staff
Lump sums and pensions are calculated at time of retirement of staff and estimates are calculated on request. Lump sums are paid as close as possible to the day of retirement, whereas pensions are paid fortnightly.
