Clara Fire Station

Clara Fire Station is a 1 bay fire station. The station is run by a Station Officer with assistance from a Sub Station Officer and Driver Mechanic.

At present the Station is equipped with 1 Class B Fire Appliance which carries a variety of equipment to deal effectively with any situation

Clara Fire Brigade attended 94 calls in 2011.
These calls consisted of Chimneys fires, house fires, Road traffic accidents, flooding, special services etc

Weekly training drill takes place on Wednesday nights from 17:30 to 19:30. The fire fighters carry out training on all aspects of the service, including fire fighting, Breathing apparatus, and road traffic accidents. In addition to this weekly training all Firefighters are required to carry out regular refresher courses in all aspects of training including Fire Behaviour Training, Breathing Apparatus Training and First Aid Training
