Tullamore Fire Station
The Offaly County Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters is located at the Central Fire Station, Kilcruttin Tullamore. It is a 5 bay station with office accommodation for fire prevention and fire operations; it also has a lecture suite and and a recently completed training centre including a purpose built Breathing Apparatus Training centre.

The station is run by a Station Officer with assistance from two sub officers, driver mechanic and 8 retained fire fighters.

Tullamore Fire Brigade attended 259 calls in 2011.
These calls consisted of Chimneys fires, house fire, Road traffic accidents, flooding, special services etc.
Weekly training drill takes place on Wednesday nights from 18:30 to 20:30. The fire fighters carry out training on all aspects of the service, including Fire Fighting, Rescue, Breathing Apparatus, and Road Traffic Collision procedures
