Co-ordinated by INTO and the Heritage Council this Heritage In Schools programme provides a range of experts to work with National Schools.
Archaeology In the Classroom - It's About Time
This is a programme relevant to all classes in Primary school and Transition Year. It was developed by the Limerick Education Centre and the Dept of Environment, Heritage and Local Government in 2005. It provides 12 modules with information on archaeology all through the time line. Wild Things At School
This is a book for primary school teachers by Eanna Ni Lamhna with illustrations by Christine Warner. Its aim is to teach each class about three plants or animals each year.
