Display of 1916 Soldier's Uniform
Students from St. Mary's Secondary School, Edenderry used the soldier's uniform as a three-dimensional canvas to represent their thoughts.
The display of the soldier's uniform will be on display in the Library for Cultural Celebration of 1916.
An article about the sculpture was published in the Irish Independent on Thursday 10th March.
Edenderry Library
This exhibition is on view for the month of April at Edenderry Library. It is a co-operation between Club Staire (by kind arrangement of Tadhg O’Cruadhlaoich) and Biorra le Gaeilge, with the Assistance of the Arts Office, Offaly County Council. Images by kind permission of Brain Crowley, Pearse Museum who is also an author of the book, ‘Patrick Pearse, A life in Pictures’.
