Offaly County Council in collaboration with The Irish Hospice Foundation & Health Service Executive will host A Bereavement Night in Tullamore Library on Tuesday 9th November 2010 at 7 pm.

A bereavement booklet produced as part of a collaborative project between Offaly County Library, Irish Hospice Foundation and the Bereavement Care Liaison project in the Midlands was launched at the event.

The booklet lists a selection of book titles under different subject areas e.g. grieving the death of someone close, understanding grief, living through the death of your partner and spouse, grieving a child and children’s grief.
All of these books are available in the libraries throughout Offaly. The booklet also details local services available on Offaly and national websites and helplines.
