Clara Bog Visitor Centre is co-located with the Library in Clara.
The Clara Bog Visitor Centre is open to the public for free.
We are open from 10.00am to 5.00pm, 7 days a week.
So come on in and explore the amazing world of Clara Bog. Let Daithí our Dragonfly show you his home and all the species that live with him by using our interactive touch screens.
The Centre also has AV facilities with a short 14 minute film Probing the Past – The Natural History of Clara Bog. There is also a second short film on the social history of Clara Bog.
Guided tours of the Bog can also be organised. Just contact the centre and speak with one of our guides.

Clara Bog Visitor Centre also offers Education Programmes from National School level up. Contact the Centre for more information and a copy of our Education Programme. Our Education Programmes are currently free.
