Have fun making an animated movie whilst learning about Entrepreneurship, Business Basics, Money Management, Teamwork, Leadership and Computer Technology!

BizWorld is a unique learning program which teaches entrepreneurship, business and money management, and promotes critical thinking, leadership and teamwork life skills for 11- 13 years olds.

A pilot scheme will start in Birr Library on Tuesday 1th November at 10.30am. Each workshop has duration of 10/12 hours (2*6 days).

The workshop involves each student understanding the different jobs required to be a successful group. By pitching to a venture capitalist they raise seed capital. The businesses then pass through the entrepreneurial cycle where they design, produce, market and sell a product. The product will be a short animated movie.

We are pleased to offer the 6th class students in Birr, the opportunity to attend a BizWorld Workshop over the up and coming mid-term break. The workshop will be held in Birr Library on Tuesday 1st November and Wednesday 2nd November between 10:30 and 4:30 each day. The course is completely free of charge and all materials will be provided.

Bookings will be taken on a first come first serve basis.
