As part of the nationwide National Heritage Week celebrations, Saturday 21st to Sunday, 29th August, Offaly County Library hosts the following:

Tullamore Library

  • Yesterday’s News, Today’s History, Tomorrow’s Heritage: An exhibition
    A look at the valuable research resource that is our microfilm newspaper collection.
  • Reading Yesterday’s News: An Introduction
    A demonstration of how to access and use our microfilm newspaper collection.

  • Downloading Yesterday’s News: A demonstration
    A demonstration of how to access the Irish Times Archive using the computer facilities of Tullamore Library.
    Thursday, August 26th, 4.00 p.m.
