The following libraries will close for periods of holiday leave during July, August & September:

| Shinrone Library | July & August – Temporary Closure for 2 months |
| Clara Library | August 18th to August 31st inclusive Reopening Clara Refurbished Library, Ballycumber Road, Clara on September 1st, 2009 |

Library users can use their library membership card to avail of services in any library in the County during the summer period.
