Fáilte!
Seachtain na Gaeilge was established in 1902 by Conradh na Gaeilge and is a non-profit organisation. It promotes the use of Irish language and culture both at home and abroad within a two-week festival held in March every year, and this year is taking place between the 5th & 17th March 2010.
This year, Offaly Library Service has a number of exciting projects and events organised to promote both the Irish language and Irish culture. With events ranging from Crosswords and word searches in Irish to a friendly Céad míle a fáilte in the library; it gives everyone a chance to rekindle their Irish whether fluent from youth or only dipping their toe in for the first time.
