Offaly County Library recently ran a photographic competition with the theme of The Place Where You Live. This was part of the Bealtaine festivities, the nationwide celebration of creativity in older age which runs for the month of May. The winner of the competition was Mr Michael Lynam, Mucklagh, Tullamore. Michael received a prize of book tokens to the value of €100 for his photograph of Tullamore Town Park. The exhibition is currently on display at Tullamore Library until 24th July 2010. It will then be on display at Edenderry Library from 3rd August to 14th August 2010.
