  • Borrow a wide range of books and DVDs for 3 weeks.
  • Avail of a new email notification service.
  • Reserve and renew books and DVDs 24/7 using your online account.

Join your local library

Offaly Libraries is now part of Libraries Ireland. Joining the library is easy and FREE to all. All you need to do is call into your local library and fill out an application form OR complete the online registration form. You will be given a registration number which you must then bring to your local Offaly library along with the appropriate ID.

Requests

If your local library does not hold the book you want we can request it for you from another library nationwide. You can also request your items online. Please ask a member of staff for more information.

Internet Access

We provide internet access computers in all Offaly Libraries. The charge is 0.60c per 15 minute session. We also have Free WiFi in all our Libraries.

You can log into the wireless network with your library barcode and PIN. If you do not have a PIN please ask at the library desk.
