Tullamore is location central to the midlands of Ireland. It is the county town and administrative capital of County Offaly. It is one of the towna in the Athlone/Mullingar/Tullamore midlands gateway within the National Spatial Strategy.
The population in the immediate town is heading for 12,000, the broader hinterland of Tullamore encompasses approx 20,000 people and the county population overall is 60,000. the local Chamber of Commerce estimate a population of 348,041 within a 60km radius.
