Viral Video Competition for Offaly
Offaly County Council in association with Midlands 103 have been running a Viral Video Competition over the past two months. We have been delighted with the quality of entries. Entries have been historic, abstract, entertaining and quirky, with all catching the imagination. Schools and individual film makers have all been involved in promoting 'Unique Reasons to Visit Offaly'.
What is a viral video? A viral video is one that becomes popular through the process of Internet sharing, typically through video sharing websites and email i.e. Facebook, Bebo, Hotmail, YouTube etc. Viral videos often contain humorous content and includes comedy sketches.
This project is being promoted and supported by the Economic Development Office and the Arts Office of Offaly County Council in Association with Midlands 103. Below please see the entries into our competition and enjoy the videos! Judging will be by an independent panel so if you like a particular video we would ask you to share it through social media sites like Facebook and YouTube. The more 'Hits' received the better chance of winning for each entrant.
