Birr Shopfront Enhancement Scheme Guide 2013
Birr Town Council are seeking to support owners improve shopfronts in Birr with traditional, high quality external enhancements. Works should involve the removal of inappropriate contemporary signage, fittings and general clutter and include proposals for suitable shop fascia signs with emphasis on hand painted signage. Grant assistance of up to 50% of the enhancement costs with a maximum grant allowable of up to €500 per applicant and a total of €5,000 is available. Exclusions: Internal works, electrical or mechanical works or routine maintenance.
