YOU CAN NOW PURCHASE YOUR DOG LICENCE ONLINE!!!
It is now possible for dog owners living in County Offaly to purchase Dog Licences on-line at http://www.offaly.ie/doglicences.
In accordance with the Control of Dogs Act 1986, If you own a dog, you must have a dog licence. It can obtained from your local Post Office or you can now purchase your dog licence online. The licence is valid from one year from date of issue.
· Single Dog Licence €12.70*
· General Dog Licence €253.95*
*These fees may be subject to change in accordance with national legislation.
If you do not have a dog licence, you are liable to receive an on-the-spot fine. Failure to pay the fine, can result in prosecution with a maximum fine of €1,900 and/or up to 3 months imprisonment.
