Tullamore Leisure Centre
Tullamore Leisure Centre was officially opened in October 2008 achieving one of the long held ambitions of Tullamore Town Council. The Council worked in partnership with a local voluntary fund raising committee who following two decades of hard work raised almost half a million euro towards the project. To maximise funding opportunities for the project, the Council set up a limited company, Tullamore Leisure Limited to drive the project forward. The Company is a partnership between the Local Authority and the Community and the Board of Directors consists of representatives from each of these sectors.. The management of the facility was licenced to Aura Sports and Leisure Limited and during its first three months of trading in 2008 almost 18,000 users availed of the pool, pitches and gym facilities in the complex.
LloydTown Park
