Tullamore Town Council's Planning Office opens 9:30am to 1:00pm Monday to Friday. The administration of the Tullamore Town Council Planning Function is moving to Offaly County Council from January 2010 as part of the on-going programme of enhancing customer services in the Offaly Local Authorities. This is will result in the resumption of a full planning service to customers during the normal opening hours of Offaly County Council and the closure of the Town Council Planning Office at Cormac Street. Tullamore Town Council will however still remain as the statutory Planning Authority for the town. Further information is available by clicking on the document below.

Draft Tullamore & Environs Development Plan 2010-2016
Tullamore Town Council and Offaly County Council being the Planning Authorities for the town of Tullamore and its Environs have prepared a Draft Tullamore Town and Environs Development Plan for the period 2010-2016. The plan underwent a public consultation process from the 27th July 2009 to October 6th 2009. All submissions received were assessed and a report to both the elected members of Tullamore Town Council and Offaly County Council on this process was made by the County Manager in December 2009.
The Members of both Councils have considered the recommendations made in this report and have made amendments to the Draft Plan in accordance with Section 12 (6) of the Planning and Development Act 2000-2009.
A report outlining these amendments has been prepared and will be avaialble for inspection for a four week period beginning on the 4th March, 2010. Submissions on these amendments only will be accepted during this period.
