Traffic bye-laws were adopted by the council in 2006 following a lengthy consultation process. The bye-laws have considerably enhanced parking and traffic management in the town and provided much needed revenue to support the council’s extensive leisure and recreational programme.
Parking charges are €1.00 per hour in hourly spaces and €2.50 per day in all-day Carparks.
