National Heritage Week starts on Saturday, 16th August running until Sunday, 24th August.
This year’s theme, Exploring Our Foundations. Invites us to reflect on the many ways our heritage shapes and connects us – through landscapes, family roots, traditions, and shared experiences.
All national events can be found on www.heritageweek.ie. New events are being added right up to the beginning of National Heritage Week, so be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
The Offaly Event Guide can be downloaded here or hard copies are available at your local library branch. This year, there are 61 different events happening across the county, giving you plenty of ways to get involved.
