All library branches in Offaly provide access to printing, photocopying and scanning facilities. Users can avail of our public PCs to access and print documents in all our library locations.
Our library branches also offer easy-to-use Print, Copy & Go kiosks, allowing for convenient remote printing and ‘direct to email or USB’ scanning.
How does remote printing work?
Remote printing allows users to email print jobs directly to our Print, Copy & Go kiosks from any device with access to email.
Step 1) Email documents you wish to print to the corresponding address:
- For regular, A4 Black & White, email your print job to: print.bw@pcg.ie
- For A4 Colour, email your print job to: print.colour@pcg.ie
Step 2) Receive your Secure Print Release code in a return email, usually after 5 minutes.
Step 3) Retrieve your prints at any Offaly Libraries Print, Copy & Go kiosk using your codes within 72 hours
Step 4) Pay via the kiosk ( Contactless or Cash options available )

Not working?
If you’re having problems, please ensure you have double checked the below.
- Double check the print email contains no errors, spelling mistakes or autocorrects.
- Ensure the subject line is not empty as this may impact mail delivery
- Our printers can only read basic attachments within emails ie. PDFs, Word Documents and some image files. PIN protected documents, Excel sheets or external drive links will not work.
- If you cannot attach your print job to an email but can view it on your phone, we suggest using your phone’s screenshot feature and attaching the screenshot instead.
- If issues persist, please check with a member of staff for assistance.
