COMHAIRLE CHONTAE UÍBHE FHAILÍ OFFALY COUNTY COUNCIL NOTIFICATION OF ANNUAL MEETING
The Annual Meeting of Offaly County Council will convene on Friday, 7th June 2019 at 2.00 p.m. at which the first business of the newly elected Council will be the election of it’s Cathaoirleach. This meeting is the first meeting of the newly elected Council following the local elections held on the 24th of May 2019.
Local Authorities by virtue of their democratic mandate make appointments to a range of bodies. Offaly County Council makes appointments to the following bodies:

At this Annual Meeting, Offaly County Council will consider the making of appointments (Councillor and Non-Councillor where appropriate) to the above bodies. It should be noted, however, that appointments to some, under the relevant statutory or other provisions applicable or at the Council’s discretion, may fail to be considered and made at a later date to the Annual Meeting.

2019
In accordance with Local Elections Regulations 1995, declarations of the results of the poll taken on May 24th 2019 to fill 19 seats on Offaly county council and the results of counts for each of the local electoral areas of Birr, Edenderry and Tullamore have been published on the website of Offaly County Council at www.offaly.ie and are available at the Council’s offices at Áras An Chontae, Charleville Road, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
