Clara Town Centre First Plan - Update on consultations held and submission deadline
Urban Agency Architects Ltd and Offaly County Council in partnership with Clara Town Team have completed the second phase of Public Consultation to ensure the views and comments on Clara’s Town Centre First Plan will be considered to ensure local knowledge informs the opportunities that come forward over the next number of years.
The aim of the Public Consultation process is to take advantage of the great sense of community spirit in Clara, capitalise on the rich industrial heritage to maximise potential tourism, build on the natural infrastructure to deliver long term sustainable outcomes for the Town and maximise linkages and connections for the town.

All information gathered by the Project Team will be used to inform the Draft Town Centre First Plan to be put on display in 2023.
A workshop was also held with students from Ard Scoil Chiaráin and Youth Reach prior to the public event.
For those that were unable to attend the in-person event, the information boards are available for inspection in Clara Library (as well as through the link above).
