The Government has agreed that Level 5 as set out in the Plan for Living with COVID-19 will apply nationally until April 5th 2021. The Government has clearly stated that there is an absolute need to minimise the level of mobility and congregation of people in order to reduce all opportunities for transmission of the virus.

Consequently, and in line with current public health guidance, the Offices of Offaly County Council are closed for walk-in services to support this reduced mobility policy.

Public access cannot be facilitated during LEVEL 5 restrictions. Therefore, Offaly County Council services will be available by telephone, email, online post and only where absolutely necessary and in exceptional circumstances by appointment. Please read latest information.

Notice of deposit of rate book for inspection and of intention to make a rate

 

Notice is hereby given that Offaly County Council is about to make a County Rate on the property rateable thereto in the above named County Health District of Offaly. 

 

The annual rate on valuation (ARV - formerly Rate in the pound) for the ordinary expenditure of Offaly County Council for service of the year ending on 31st December, 2021 is €0.2198.

 

 The Rate Book is deposited for inspection by ratepayers in the offices of Offaly County Council, Áras an Chontae, Charleville Road, Tullamore and will be available there, open for such inspection between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm by appointment only, during the next fourteen days excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
