Built Heritage Investment Scheme & Historic Structures Fund 2021

Offaly County Council wishes to invite applications under the Built Heritage Investment Scheme (BHIS) & Historic Structures Fund (HSF) for 2021, as operated by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage. The BHIS seeks to encourage the leveraging of private capital to invest in a number of small scale, labour intensive projects to repair and conserve Protected Structures and Proposed Protected Structures and in certain cases, for the conservation of structures within Architectural Conservation Areas, and to support the employment of skilled and experienced conservation professionals, craftworkers and tradespeople. The HSF assists with works to safeguard structures or parts of structures in immediate danger of significant deterioration.

All applicants must complete the Application Form and submit it, with supporting documentation in hardcopy ONLY by 4pm, Friday 22nd January 2021. ***LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED***.

Applications must be clearly marked Built Heritage Investment Scheme 2021/Historic Structures Fund 2021 and addressed to the Planning Department, Offaly County Council, Aras an Chontae, Charleville Road, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
