Met Éireann have advised the National Emergency Coordination group that low temperatures are set to continue until Friday 16th December. Please be aware this cold weather can have the following impacts:

⚠️Potential for burst water pipes and damage to engines

⚠️Increased risks to vulnerable members of the community

⚠️Animal welfare issues

⚠️Slack winds over land leading to reduced wind power generation.
