Offaly County Council Arts Office offers several different grant programmes: Below is a summary of each grant scheme offered.

Professional Artists Support Scheme [CLOSED]

Designed to assist artists living in or from Offaly. For particulars please click here. Closing date for applications is Friday 25th January 2019 at 4pm 

Arts Act Grants [CLOSED]

This grant is open to voluntary community groups/organisations, artists, town bands, musical and drama groups in Offaly. Competition is high with a high calibre applications being submitted. Applicants wishing to apply should read the application guidelines carefully and complete all sections including a detailed budget. Average grant awarded is €500.00. Festival Arts Grants [CLOSED]

This grant supports art programmes of festivals in Offaly. Closing date Friday Friday 22nd February 2019 at 4pm. To download application forms please visit our Festival Grant Page please call 05793 57400.

FilmOffaly Award [CLOSED] CLOSING DATE FRIDAY 22ND MARCH @ 3PM

An annual award which invites applicants to submit short film scripts. The winner of the award receives €10,000.00 towards the production of the film, together with other benefits. The film must be shot on location in Offaly. See www.filmoffaly.ie for more information and application forms.Closing date 22ND March 2019 at 3pm

Birr Writers Residency [OPEN] CLOSING DATE THURSDAY 21ST MARCH @ 3PM

Offaly County Council Arts Office provides an annual bursary to Tin Jug Studio to provide a writers residency/retreat in the Georgian heritage town of Birr. The opportunity is for professional writers who are seeking a short break from daily routines; it is for those who feel the need to re-invigorate themselves into completing current work; and it is also for writers who may simply need inspiration, through a change of place and stimuli.
