Arts Grants for Communities

Offaly County Council Arts Office are calling out to communities to make an application to the Arts Acts Grants for 2021. The Arts Acts Grants are an annual funding scheme which provide support to communities wishing to engage in a range of arts activity and projects within the community context such as workshops, projects, presentations or events. Offaly County Council in partnership with Bord na Móna are delighted to announce the publication of a recently commissioned artist book titled, Deep Mapping: Lough Boora Sculpture Park – Reclaim | Rehabilitate | Restore | Regenerate by artists Tim Collins and Reiko Goto Collins. The artists were commissioned by Lough Boora Sculpture Park Management Committee, to develop a deep mapping project that would reveal a detailed depiction of place, people, buildings, objects, flora and fauna, exisiting within and surrounding the Parklands; as part of a process to consider a sustainable artistic vision that can inform the future development of Lough Boora Sculpture Park.

Offaly Arts Office is recently updated our Professional Artist Database. (in accordance with GDPR). The database sends out opportunities and information to Offaly artists of all mediums with regards to the arts in Offaly, artists also need to be included on the database to qualify for Offaly County Council Arts Grants/bursaries. We are asking all existing database artists and new artists to send in a form.
