Annual Offaly Heritage Seminar - Friday 18 and Saturday 19 November 2022

The annual Offaly Heritage Seminar was held in Birr on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 November 2022.  This annual seminar is an opportunity for those interested in heritage to meet and to hear about projects happening in the county.   All are welcome and it is a free. Email if you would like to come along in 2023.  There were field trips in the morning to Kilcomin church, the Birr Barracks Mural in Crinkill and Emmel Castle; a walking tour of Birr town seeing new developments and an afternoon seminar in Birr Theatre and Arts Centre.   View the Annual Offaly Heritage Seminar 2022 brochure here.  With sincere thanks to all those who facilitated the field trips and gave presentations and who came along for the day to explore the heritage of the county.
