Making Memories - Tullamore Camera Club Exhibition

Launch on 4th October 2017 @ 6.30pm - Edenderry Library

The club originally started out as Slieve Bloom Photography Club and was formed in 2009 in Ballyboy. It moved to Tullamore the following year and has continued to grow. They are a group of like minded photography enthusiasts always ready to learn something new. They arrange outings  - day trips and overnights - local, nationwide and European. They organize guest speakers and workshops and are involved with the Midland Photography Group (an umbrella organization encompassing all the midland photography groups).

Earlier this year they decided to rebrand the club Tullamore Camera Club - their ethos is 'learn what your camera can do for you and what you can do with your camera' - they enjoyed a great evening back in Ballyboy for the launch of the new name of the club. The club meets the last Thursday of every month (except December and July) in Offaly Historical Society, Bury Quay at 8pm. New members are always welcome.

We are very much involved in community projects which allow us to take beautiful photos while giving back to the community - Tullamore Credit Union Tidy Estates / Offaly Historical Society Villages Project / Tullamore Harriers and Tullamore Show are just some of the ventures we are involved with. If you have an interest in photography why not come along to our meeting to see what we are about.

Note for sales of photographs:  If anyone is interested in purchasing any of the photos on display please email - with the reference and you will be put in direct contact with the photographer.
