Petra has participated and collaborated in various group exhibitions and solo shows since 1990 throughout Europe.  Parallel to her own career of being a painter, she gives workshops to adults and children.  Her work has been acquired by private collectors around the world.

"I am a process based painter where found or recycled materials and objects are often my starting point. In combination with texture pastes, pencils, paints and pigments I turn those materials into something new.  My subject matters are mostly landscapes and old buildings and some figurative works in shapes of both, animals or humans in a abstract , minimalist style.  In my work I search for fragments and traces of memories, something that’s been lost over time and trying to re-emerge , or something that remains.  In this exhibition I want to show a mix of selected works from the past three years"
