For children aged 7 – 12 (and their families). Booking advisable. Dogs TrustEducation Officer Paul Cleary and his dog Magic will be delivering a new workshop “A Dog’s Life”. Come along and find out about what it takes to become an education dog, and pick up some  tips on dog safety.

Heritage Week 2018 – Sharing Stories

Wednesday, July 25th between 5.00pm and 7.30pm & Saturday, July 28th between 10.00am and 12.30pm.

Have you any stories or memories from your childhood that you would like to share? Do you know any folklore, traditional cures or remedies that have been forgotten about? Have you an interesting item that has a story worth sharing, e.g. war medals, household/farming items? Now is your chance to record stories and memories from your past for future generations. You are invited to join us in Birr Library. Sessions are 15 minutes long. Booking is essential, please contact Birr Library.
