Offaly Libraries Comic Con 2022 hits Tullamore Library, Saturday 18th June
Offaly Libraries are delighted to announce the much anticipated return of our award winning Offaly Libraries Comic Con, landing in Tullamore Library on Saturday 18th June.
This colourful, fun and free family friendly event has become a staple in Offaly’s library calendar since 2019.
With our doors opening at 10am, there is a day full of activity available on the main library floor with our Vendor and Artist Alley, there are bookable workshops available in our Creative Zone upstairs and children can retreat from the hustle and bustle to a dedicated LEGO Freeplay Zone in The Space.
Visitors to the library will be treated to some crafty demonstrations, partake in cosplay competitions for all ages and there’s even a chance to destroy the Deathstar with VEX Robotics, a programme Offaly Libraries is proud to be in collaboration with the IT department of Offaly County Council
Special guests on the day will include Ghostbusters Ireland, 501st Garrison, Mechatrons Robotics and Shamrock Bricks. It’s sure to keep everyone entertained until 4pm
This innovative project is funded by Creative Ireland and Offaly Libraries.
