ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, 1994 – SECTION 38
PROPOSED TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES
Notice is hereby given that Edenderry Municipal District (Offaly County Council) pursuant to Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 (as amended), proposes to undertake Traffic Calming and Traffic Management Measures in Ballyfore,Big/Ballyleakin, in particular in and around the junction of the R-402-3 (Daingean – Edenderry road) and L-50061-2.
It is proposed to modify the L-50061-2 to a cul-de-sac through closing off direct access to the R-402-3. It is proposed that access will only be from the L-5006-2.
Plans and particulars of the proposed traffic calming / traffic management works are available for
inspection from Wednesday 31st March 2021 until 28th April 2021 inclusive,
(i) online at www.offaly.ie or (ii) by appointment, Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays, at:
Edenderry Municipal District, Town Hall, O’Connell Square, Edenderry, Co. Offaly.
