In accordance with the provision of the Roads Act 1993, Offaly County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to consider the making of a Declaration that the road listed hereunder be a public road:
Existing road from its junction with the R357 at the RC Church in Boora, Leabeg, north for a distance of 2,800m. – (Known as “The Offaly Way”).
A map showing the road, may be inspected at the offices of Offaly County Council, Aras an Chontae, Charleville Road, Tullamore, County Offaly, R35 F893 & also at the offices of the Birr Municipal District, Civic Offices, Wilmer Road, Birr, County Offaly, R42 X271, Monday to Friday between the hours 9:00am to 1.00pm, for a period from Wednesday 29th September to Thursday 28th of October 2021. Because of Covid restrictions, if required, an appointment for viewing can also be made by contacting (057) 93 46800 or (057) 912 4900.

Objections or representations in relation to this declaration may be made in writing to the Director of Services, Mr. Tom Shanahan, Roads Section, Offaly County Council, Áras an Chontae, Charleville Road, Tullamore, County Offaly, no later than Friday 12th November 2021 at 12.30 p.m.
