The Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) 2025, funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and administered by Offaly Local Community Development Committee (LCDC), aimed to support small-scale capital projects and operational costs for community and voluntary groups across Offaly.
Cathaoirleach Cllr Audrey Hennessy Kennedy and Chief Executive Anna Marie Delaney of Offaly County Council welcomed today’s announcement by Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary TD and Minister of State Jerry Buttimer that over €177,225 in funding has been awarded to 145 Offaly Community Groups and Organisations under the Local Enhancement Programme 2025. The funding will support local Groups with ongoing running costs and small-scale capital expenses.
Chief Executive of Offaly County Council, Anna Marie Delaney, congratulated all the successful applicants and thanked them for all the work they do in providing services in their local communities.
Recently appointed Cathaoirleach of Offaly LCDC, Robert McDermott, also warmly welcomed the funding stating that “this funding will be of great benefit to the Groups and their communities”.
