From the Shannon to St Rynagh’s

Song written by Jessica Traynor in collaboration with 2020 Transition Years of Banagher College, composed by Elaine Agnew and sung by the 2021 6th Class of St Rynagh’s National School. The song and film forms part of a larger per cent for art public project commission by Offaly County Council Arts Office. A poetry book was completed by Jessica Traynor and the community of Banagher and can be downloaded by clicking here.

Film:Secrets of Offaly – Silent Journeys

A public art project by Ciarán Taylor. The documentary is on an amazing day in August 2015 when the people of Kinnitty recreated scenes from the life and films of Rex Ingram, the Hollywood silent movie director from the village. Film: Offaly Culture Night 2014

A 2 minute clip of events that took place in Offaly on Culture Night 2014. Culture Night is a night of entertainment, discovery and adventure across towns cities and counties in Ireland. Arts and cultural organisations open their doors until late with FREE events. Offaly had over 25 events in 2014. The film can be viewed on Offaly Arts Youtube Channel by following this link.

Film: A Grand Experience

A short film by Mixed Bag Media. Mini Movies

Mini Movies are both action and stop motion short movies created by kids. Since 2012 Offaly County Council Arts Office has funded a professional film artist to work with three schools in the Birr Area over several days. The result are mini movies which are then screened at the OFFline Film Festival in Birr. The Mini Movies are now of the Offaly Arts Youtube.
