Offaly County Council wishes to advise Greenway users of the following temporary closure from 11th March 2024 – 22nd March 2024 to facilitate Waterways Ireland to carry out essential maintenance on the canal bank.
The walkway will be closed to the public during this period from the 28th lock on the Grand Canal at Srah, Tullamore for a distance of 1km to the west.
Local access arrangements and diversions will be in place.
