River Songs by Birr poet Eileen Casey is a collection of poems inspired by the river of Casey’s childhood, The Camcor. River Songs, awarded by Creative Ireland, also enabled Eileen to facilitate poetry workshops in both Saint Brendan’s Primary School and The Mercy Convent Primary School, during 2023.
River Songs also features powerful and imaginative imagery by Tina Claffey, Emma Barone, Jackie Lynch, Birdwatch Ireland, among others.
River Songs launch takes place on Wednesday 13th December, Birr Library Atrium, 6.30 pm. All welcome.
