The Electoral Reform Act 2022 has changed the electors registration process and you will now require your PPSN, date of birth and Eircode to complete the registration process or make amendments.

You can check if you are on the Register, register to vote or amend your details and address by logging onto

The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage published information guides (in 17 languages) outlining the process of registering to vote and maintaining your registration.


The latest date for the receipt of Appeals in respect of the Register of Electors of the County of Offaly in advance of the 39th and 40th Referendums of The Constitution shall be Thursday 22nd February 2024.
