Students from local schools will also be invited down to their libraries to participate in some astronomy inspired workshops as well as embarking on exhilarating journeys into space through our Virtual Reality headsets during sessions held at Birr, Clara, Daingean and Tullamore libraries.

Libraries across the county will also support this initiative with STEAM themed book displays to explain and inspire as well as our online offering of supporting resources including BusyCode for Kids, free access to Junior Online Encyclopedia and free courses available through our online learning platform, Universal Class.

We encourage all to drop in and discover a world of new discoveries at the library!
